Sub :School Education – Parents Committee (formerly known as School
Management Committees - SMCs ) - Change of the existing Bank
accounts of SMCs in favour of Parent Committee – Orders – Issued.
The attention of all the Mandal Educational Officers / all the Head
Masters (except Pvt. Un-aided ) in the district is invited to the references cited above, wherein the Government have issued orders for change of nomenclature of SMCs as "Parent Committees" and the existing accounts are in operation in favour of SMCs with joint account of HM and SMC chairman for official correspondence.
In view of the new Parent Committees (PCs) are elected and in
operation, the DEO & Ex-offcio District Project Coordinator is pleased to accord permission to the HMs to change the existing account of SMCs into Parent Committee (PCs) for further correspondence henceforth.
Hence, the MEOs / HMs are requested to take necessary action for
change of the existing SMC account in favour of "Parents Committee" with the joint account of HM and Chairman of PC forthwith in consultation with the Bank Managers concerned.
The Managers of the concerned Bank Branches are requested to
extend necessary cooperation with the Head Masters in this regard.
