- As per the PFRDA Circular (Ref. No. PFRDA/2020/37/SUP-CRA/15) dated September 3, 2020 regarding the captioned subject , Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has been established inter-alia is to protect the interests of Subscribers of NPS and other pension schemes regulated by it. PFRDA has allowed comprehensive and digitally enabled solutions for Subscribers’ varied needs from on-boarding till the process of exit.
- In order to enable NPS Subscribers with ease of changing the nomination in their Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN), PFRDA has allowed the ‘e Sign based online facility’ to change the nomination through the Subscribers’ login credentials.
- In this regard, PFRDA has issued a Circular pertaining to ‘e-Nomination facility for NPS Subscribers’ in order to help and guide the Subscribers of NPS in understanding detailed provisions regarding ‘Nominations’ under NPS and process flow of e-Nomination facility.

NPS మరియు ఇతర పెన్షన్ పథకాల చందాదారుల ప్రయోజనాలను నియంత్రిస్తుంది. ఆన్-బోర్డింగ్ నుండి నిష్క్రమణ ప్రక్రియ వరకు చందాదారుల యొక్క విభిన్న అవసరాలకు సమగ్ర మరియు డిజిటల్ ఎనేబుల్ చేసిన పరిష్కారాలను పిఎఫ్‌ఆర్‌డిఎ అనుమతించింది
- ఎన్‌పిఎస్ చందాదారులను వారి శాశ్వత పదవీ విరమణ ఖాతా నంబర్ (పిఆర్‌ఎన్) లో నామినేషన్‌ను సులభంగా మార్చడానికి, పిఎఫ్‌ఆర్‌డిఎ ‘ఇ సైన్ బేస్డ్ ఆన్‌లైన్ సదుపాయాన్ని’ చందాదారుల లాగిన్ ఆధారాల ద్వారా నామినేషన్ మార్చడానికి అనుమతించింది.
- ఈ విషయంలో, ఎన్‌పిఎస్ చందాదారులకు ఎన్‌పిఎస్ కింద ‘నామినేషన్లు’ మరియు ఇ-నామినేషన్ సౌకర్యం యొక్క ప్రాసెస్ ప్రవాహానికి సంబంధించిన వివరణాత్మక నిబంధనలను అర్థం చేసుకోవడంలో ఎన్‌పిఎస్ చందాదారులకు సహాయపడటానికి మరియు మార్గనిర్దేశం చేయడానికి ‘ఎన్‌పిఎస్ చందాదారులకు ఇ-నామినేషన్ సౌకర్యం’ గురించి సర్క్యులర్ జారీ చేసింది.
