Meetings and Data-backed Interventions - Orders issued - Reg.

School Education, dated 02.04.2019
All the District Education Officers are hereby informed that the Department of
School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched the new
Assessment Dashboard. The Assessment Dashboard is an online website based tool
which enables the easy visualization of Summative and Formative Assessment
results. A user can login to the Assessment Dashboard and use the Dashboard to
view Assessment Results at the State, District, Division, Mandal, School, Class and
Student Level (details on how to login are given in the Annexure 1). The new
Dashboard also includes printable report cards that provide a snapshot of
Assessment Data at the District, Division, Mandal, School, Class and Student level.
Objectives of the Assessment Dashboard
1. To enable easy visualization of customized data relevant to each stakeholder
2. To enable comparison across assessments (year on year) and levels (comparison
of school performance with the State, District and Mandal average and with other
schools as well)
3. To enable users to derive insights about performance in assessments
4. To enable data backed review meetings on performance in assessments
5. To enable creation of data backed action plans to improve learning levels
The Assessment Data is a rich source of insights into the performance of
students, their learning levels and the areas that they are strong and weak in. An
analysis of assessment data enables a user to create an effective action plan that
can tackle academic standard wise gaps in student learning. Teachers will be able to
develop different teaching strategies to target the identified learning gaps. The end
goal is to ensure that student learning levels and performance in subsequent
assessments improves.
Thus, the Assessment Dashboard is to be used by DEOs, DyEOs, MEOs,
File No.ESE02-22/56/2019-SCERT
HMs and teachers to view the Assessment Results relevant to them and to take
action based on the data.
The Assessment Dashboard must be used to conduct review meetings at
various levels and to take action based on the insights derived (detailed list of actions
to take at each level is given in the Annexure 2). The assessment dashboard is now
ready for use at http://apsaps.vassarlabs.com/
Therefore, all DEOs, DyEOs, MEOs, HMs and Teachers are requested to
watch the videos on the Assessment Dashboard (link in Annexure 1). The videos
guide users on how to use the Assessment Dashboard.
