ORDER: 

 In the letter 3rd read above, the Director of School Education, has stated that Government of Andhra Pradesh, has proposed to support the  students belonging to BPL families in transforming their lives digitally and also helps the students during pandemic situation to attend classes online. For this, it has been proposed to provide LAPTOP to the willing beneficiaries in place of financial assistance, for the students studying from 9th to 12th Classes. The configuration for the laptops to be provided, is Dual Core Processor, 4GB RAM, 500 GB Hard Disk, 14 inches Screen, Windows 10 (STF Microsoft), Open Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Extended 3 Years Warranty. 

2. The Director of School Education, has further stated that procurement of laptops may be entrusted to the Managing Director, APTS and he may be requested to come up with the modalities for supply and maintenance. In case of maintenance, it should be ensured that any maintenance issue shall have to be addressed within (7) days from the date of reporting of the problem and Gram/Ward Sachivalayam shall be  the nodal point for reporting and redressing the grievance. He, has therefore, requested to issue necessary orders for providing laptops to eligible and willing beneficiaries in place of financial assistance under Jagananna Ammavodi, for the students studying from Classes 9th to 12th for the Academic Year 2021-22. 

3. In the circumstances reported by the Director of School Education, in his letters 3rd read above, Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby order to provide laptops to the eligible and willing beneficiaries in place of financial assistance, to the students studying from Classes 9th to 12th under Jagananna Ammavodi for the Academic Year 2021-22. 

4. The Director of School Education, A.P and the M.D, APTS shall take further necessary action accordingly, in the matter.
