AP DEECET-2022 Notification for Online Application

DEECET-2022 NOTIFICATION FOR ONLINE APPLICATION.

1. Online application for DEECET-2022 are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into Two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.ELEd) in Government District Institutes of Educaion and Training (D.I.E.Ts) and other Private Elementary Teacher Training in the state to be conducted by Department of School Education, Govt. of A.P. on 28-06-2022 and 29-06-2022 in all 13 erstwhile District Head quarters of the state of Andhra Pradesh. In DEECET -2022 English medium seats are also available in certain Govt. DIETs and Private D.EILEd., Colleges to an extent of 3000 approximately and the number of seats may varv at the time of web options For eligibility please see the information bulletin.

2. Date and Time of DEECET-2022: DEECET-2022 will be conducted on 28-06-2022 and 29-06-2022 in all 13 erstwhile District Head quarters of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Test will be conducted through online in spells.

3. Fee and submission of Application Online: The fee prescribed for appearing for DEECET-2022 (including examination fee) is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six hundred only).

5. Examination centres for DEECET- 2022: DEECET-2022 shall be conducted in all the erstwhile 13 Districts of the Andhra Pradesh state. Candidate can choose any District of his/her choice for online examination centre. If the slot for Examination is exhausted (capacity) in the opted district, nearby district ccntre will be allotted.

6. Eligibility criteria for admission:

a) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality

b) The candidates should satisty Local / Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended from time to time.

c) Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET-2022 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.

d) Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01-09-2022.

There is no Upper age limit.

e) Educational Qualifications:

The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10 +2 during 2021-22 final Examinations (Qualifying Examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But, they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.

The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying Examination for appearing in the DEECET-2022 for bothA & B category seats. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent for both A & B category seats.

Candidate belonging to OC and BC communities shall secure minimum 35 % marks in DEECET-2022. For Scheduled Casts, Scheduled Tribe

and Physically Challenged candidates the minimum qualitying mark for allotment of seats reserved under the respective categories will be 25 %.

That is to say candidates belonging to SC and ST communities should secure 35 % of marks for consideration against seats under

OC/NCC/CAP/Spots category.

Note: The Candidates who passed Intermediate with Vocational Courses are not eligible

7. The details pertaining to the structure and content of the Test, Syllabus, Pass certificate, Rule of Reservation and allotment of seat are given in the Information Bulletin.

8. Storage of Examination material: The Examination related material will be preserved for six months from the date of Examination and no application in this regard will be entertained beyond this period.

9. Allotment of Seats: All the sanctioned intake of seats in Government DIETs shall be filled by the Convener, DEECET-2022 on the basis of rank obtained in the DEECET 2022 duly following the rule of reservation vide Rule 6 & 7 of G.O.Ms.No.30, dt. 08- 07-2015. The seats allotted to the Un-Aided institutions shall be classified as (1) Category 'A' seats (2) Category 'B seats. The Category "A' seats shall be 80% of the sanctioned intake seats in the Un-Aided institutions that do not opt for SW.2 shall be filled on the basis of rank obtained in the DEECET - 2022. The Un-Aided institutions that opt for SW.2 shall maintain the region wise reservation. The Category B' seats shall be 20% of the total intake seats in the Un-Aided institutions. These 20% seats shall be opened for the candidates who appeared in DEECET-2022 and has been assigned rank in the common merit list.

10. Method of Admission: All the seats in the Government Institutions/ 1DIETs and 80% of the seats belongs to category A shall be filled by the Convener DEECET-2022 and the 20% of the seats which are belongs to Category B shall be filled by the respective Institutions subject to scrutiny by the Convener, DEECET-2022.
